Bridge Street is considered to be a part of Historic Downtown St. Augustine, which means that the hostel is within walking distance of a great many of the tourist attractions that cause people to flock to the city. However, it is in a residential area that allows it to be somewhat apart as well. Ideal for those who don't want to listen to people driving up and down all night. Only a short hop away is Ponce De Leon Avenue, one of the main arteries of the city. Five minutes from the hostel is Anastacia State Park where for five dollars per vehicle, there is access to the beach, another of the many reasons to come to St. Augustine. The hostel has, in my opinion, a perfect location for business.

We have certified the house as a safe place to be.  The Fire system is State of the Art with sprinkler heads in every room.  It has up- to-date licenses from the City of St. Augustine, St. John’s County and the State of Florida.

The room we stayed in (girl's upstairs dorm) had three double bunk beds available. They were comfortable and well made. Good mattresses. The room was clean and spacious. Lockers were available as well.  I like the key-pad-entry for every room - this ties into the room's dead bolt lock. Certainly makes you feel safe and secure, as well as your belongings.

I found it to be a homey, pleasant place to stay. I would stay again in a heart beat!  Certainly worth the money, and we truly enjoyed our stay.

I was amazed to see the things done by the people who stayed there.  I saw really great art being made and songs being written.  The house is a fantastic place – no wheels are necessary; you can walk everywhere you want to go.

A ne pas manquer : l'adresse, nichée dans le centre de la ville, où il faut sarrêter quand on passe à St
Augustine. Une ambiance de pension de famille. On se sent immédiatement chez soi grâce à l'accueil extra de
Tim, de Dee et de tous les hôtes - des voyageurs mais aussi beaucoup d'americains du coin qui sont ici pour
trouver du boulot - dont on se retrouve immédiatement en situation de partager la vie. Super endroit !

You musn't miss this place, which is really the place to stay in St Augustine. An atmosphere of family
pensione. Tim, Dee and the others make you feel immediately as if you were at home. A geat place to meet
travelers but also american people from the neighborhood that truly let you share their life for a couple of
days. A great place which I recommend to everybody.

 I love the spontaneity of the place.  While I was there they had a house dinner and I met people from all over St. Augustine who were “friends of the house.”  They also had  a pool tournament – the first one to hold the table for ten games in a row won $50. I only made six games, but it was a lot fun – I hate to lose
