- Cancellations must be made 7 days in advance of your reservation date for a full refund. If you cannot cancel prior to the cancellation window, you are responsible for the entire reservation. We will, however, make every effort to re-book the room for you - however you are ultimately responsible for the reservation and we will charge your credit card for the entire reservation if we cannot re-book it.
- We are a small Hostel and depend on the revenue generated by our reservations. If we accept your reservation, we are turning others away and losing very valuable revenue without it. We hope you appreciate the value of what we offer and understand why this policy is in effect.
Casa Yallaha was built in 1880 as part of a plantation. The name Yallaha is a local Indian word for the oranges that were once grown here. The area surrounding the hostel is known as Presidential Corner, because the granddaughters of George Washington and Thomas Jefferson once lived in neighboring houses. It’s a great place to visit! With beautifully updated Victorian style architecture, the hostel features spacious rooms that are clean and comfortable with multi-zoned air conditioning. (See pictures below) Best of all, we are the only hostel with a state-of-the-art security and fire protection system. We are fully licensed and certified by the City of Saint Augustine and the State of Florida.
